Book a private dive boat in Cancun for your family, friends or dive group and have the boat and dive guides reserved for your group. Private scuba diving charters are available for certified divers, beginners and groups with both divers and non-divers.

Certified divers can choose from Cancun's local reefs, MUSA Underwater Museum and other dive sites appropriate for their certification and conditions. A private dive charter gives your group more flexibility with departure times and dive-site selection than our regularly scheduled Cancun diving trips.

Beginners can learn to scuba dive with a private instructor and complete their first open-water dives without joining a regular group trip. Families with both divers and non-divers can also arrange a private dive and snorkel charter so everyone can travel together on the same boat.

Private dive sites are selected according to certification level, experience and conditions on the day of the trip.

Book a private dive boat for your group and explore Cancun's reefs with your own dive guide. Private charters give certified divers more flexibility with departure times and dive-site selection without joining one of our regularly scheduled dive trips.

Dive sites are selected according to certification level, experience, weather and ocean conditions. Depending on your group and conditions, options can include Cancun reefs, MUSA Underwater Museum and wreck diving for appropriately certified divers.

The Excursion: A private 2-tank dive charter for certified divers. Depending on certification, experience and conditions, dive options can include Cancun reefs, MUSA Underwater Museum and wreck diving.
What's Included: Private boat, dive guide, scuba equipment except wetsuits, tanks, weights, purified drinking water and applicable local sales taxes.
Dive Site Selection:Dive sites are selected according to your group's certification, experience, interests and conditions on the day of your charter.

Private Scuba Diving in Cancun for Beginners

Experience scuba diving for the first time with a private instructor and private dive boat reserved for your group. This option is for beginners who are not scuba certified and want to try diving without joining a regularly scheduled group trip.

Your instructor begins with the required scuba instruction and confined-water skills before taking you on two shallow open-water dives. The pace of the program is based on your group, giving beginners time to become comfortable with the equipment and basic scuba skills before entering open water.

The Excursion: Private beginner scuba experience with instruction, confined-water training and two shallow open-water dives.
What's Included: Private boat, private scuba instructor, scuba equipment, tanks, weights, purified drinking water and applicable local sales taxes.
Private Instruction:Your instructor works exclusively with your group throughout the scuba lesson and open-water dives.
Not Included:$10 USD Marine Park fee per diver. Wetsuits are available to rent separately.
