Scuba Diving & Snorkeling at Cancun's Underwater Museum
Certified divers can visit MUSA on our afternoon two-tank trip, which combines a dive at the underwater museum with a second dive on a nearby reef. The museum sits in relatively shallow water, making it an enjoyable dive for certified divers of different experience levels.
Visitors who are not scuba certified can also experience MUSA. Beginner divers can visit the museum through a Discover Scuba Diving program, and non-divers can join a snorkeling trip in the MUSA area.
All local MUSA trips depart from our dive shop in the Cancun Hotel Zone.

This afternoon two-tank dive combines a visit to the MUSA Underwater Museum with a second dive on a nearby Cancun reef, usually Manchones. The trip is for certified divers and provides two different dive experiences during the same afternoon.-

MUSA Snorkeling From Cancun
Non-divers can visit the MUSA area on a guided snorkeling trip. The excursion allows snorkelers to see the shallow underwater sculptures and surrounding marine life from the surface while enjoying a boat trip in the Cancun–Isla Mujeres Marine Park.-

What Is the MUSA Underwater Museum?
The best-known section for scuba divers is near Manchones Reef, where many of the museum's sculptures are located in shallow water. Because of the depth and generally easy conditions, MUSA is suitable for certified divers and is also commonly used for beginner scuba experiences.
