31' Private Deep Sea Fishing Charter

Our 31-foot sportfishing boat is available for private Cancun deep sea fishing charters for groups of up to 6 people. The boat is reserved for your group, with a captain and first mate, fishing equipment, bait, fishing licenses and drinks included.

Choose your trip length based on how much time you want to spend offshore. Longer trips provide more fishing time and allow the crew to travel farther when conditions or seasonal fish movements make that worthwhile.

Departure Times: Charters depart at 7:00 AM, with afternoon 4-hour trips available at 12:00 PM or 1:00 PM.

Our 33ft to 35ft sportfishing boats are available for private Cancun deep sea fishing charters for groups of up to 8 people. These larger boats provide additional space for bigger groups while keeping the boat, captain and first mate reserved exclusively for your party. Fishing equipment, bait, fishing licenses and drinks are included.

Shared deep sea fishing is available for anglers who want to fish offshore from Cancun without reserving an entire private boat. You'll share the boat with other anglers while fishing for the same seasonal offshore species targeted on our private charters.

Shared fishing trips are 6 hours and are a good option for individual anglers, couples or small groups who don't need a private boat. Fishing equipment, bait, fishing licenses and drinks are included.

Catch-and-release is practiced for billfish, including sailfish and marlin. Other species such as mahi mahi and snapper may be kept when permitted and appropriate.

If you keep an edible fish, the crew can clean and fillet your catch after the trip. We can also recommend local restaurants where you can have your fresh catch prepared.

Cancun Deep Sea Fishing Seasons

Deep sea fishing in Cancun is available throughout the year, but the species you are most likely to encounter change with the season. Spring and summer bring some of the best opportunities for billfish and mahi mahi, while the cooler months bring different offshore species into the area.

Sailfish: Sailfish begin appearing during the winter and continue into summer, with some of the strongest fishing occurring during winter and spring.

Blue & White Marlin: Marlin fishing generally improves during the spring and continues through the summer months.

Mahi Mahi (Dorado): Mahi mahi are most commonly targeted during spring and summer when warmer offshore waters bring them through the area.

Wahoo: Wahoo are more prominent during the cooler months, although they can be encountered at other times of the year.

Tuna: Blackfin tuna can be caught during much of the year, with availability changing according to offshore conditions and bait movement.
