Cancun Discover Scuba Diving Resort Course
Beginner Lesson Logistics & Pre-Trip Preparation Guide
Our Discover Scuba Diving program is specifically designed for non-certified swimmers who want to experience the magic of breathing underwater without committing to a multi-day course. This one-day resort program features personalized, small-group instruction that starts with a safety briefing and pool practice, followed by a shallow, vibrant 1-tank or 2-tank boat dive into the Cancun National Marine Park at a maximum depth of 30 feet (9 meters).
Under the direct supervision of our certified PADI instructors, you will explore calm, clear reefs teeming with sea turtles, colorful parrotfish, and schools of blue tangs. Water temperatures are highly comfortable year-round, ranging from 78F in winter to 84F during the summer months.
Important Class Schedule & Requirements:
Morning Check-in Time: 11:30 AM sharp at our central Marina facility to complete your medical questionnaire and gear fitting.
Inclusions: All standard rental equipment (mask, fins, BCD, regulator), pool training session, aluminum tanks, weights, and refreshments on board the boat.
Diver Requirements: Minimum age is 10 years old. No prior scuba experience is required, but participants must be in good overall health and comfortable in the water. Local Marine Park Reef Fees must be paid in cash at the dock.
